MARKETING KICK-OFF

MEET INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS AND MARKETING PROFESSORS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF CALGARY

Marketing Kick-off is one of the AIM’s annual events, where students are able to connect with industry professionals and professors in the field of Marketing to learn about what marketing is, current marketing opportunities and what to prepare to launch a successful marketing career in the future.

Last year (2020) on September 23rd, the AIM hosted our marketing kick-off virtually on zoom, with the participation of 2 professors from the Haskayne School of Business:

Charan BaggaCharan Bagga is an Assistant Professor in the marketing department, currently teaching strategic marketing to B.Comm students and marketing management to MBAs. His areas of expertise are within branding, pricing, loyalty points, and marketing metrics. His research has been published in the Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan Management Review, and various journals.⠀

Charan Bagga

Charan Bagga is an Assistant Professor in the marketing department, currently teaching strategic marketing to B.Comm students and marketing management to MBAs. His areas of expertise are within branding, pricing, loyalty points, and marketing metrics. His research has been published in the Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan Management Review, and various journals.⠀

Scott Radford Scott Radford is an Associate Professor of Marketing and an RBC Teaching Fellow in Entrepreneurial Thinking. Pairing a Ph.D. received in at the University of Missouri with lots of work experience, he now teaches various marketing courses for the Rozsa Arts Management Program, Strategic Leadership Development Program, and the Directors Education Program. His research on the alignment of consumers’ wellbeing with marketing actions can be seen in multiple journals including the European Journal of Marketing.⠀

Scott Radford
